Abilities: She could see death people, hear their whispering. She could see when someone was about to die, she could drive people crazy and scared by messing with their brain. Sometimes she wish she doesn't have these abilities. She is also a necromancer, she could contact with spirit, but she kept that talent hidden because she afraid of it.
Personality: she is shy, but brave, and sometimes kind of hysterical and weird. She loves history and things about Western Europe. She loves flower, and peace. Sometimes she is quite aggressive, and cunning but sometimes she is innocence and nice. She love to make friends.
Flaws: she is struggle with depress and the lost of her family. She could see death people sometimes, just a blur image in dream, or whispering but it made her scared. Sometimes she is a little clumsy like breaking things around when she blushes or felt scared. She is not a good runner, and most of all, she couldn't swim.
History: Her parents were murdered, by whom she doesn't know. Deep inside, she seeks for revenge. She was once from a rich family, but her house was burned and she had to run and hide like poor people. She survived by prog. She was nearly death until she found the Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

Personaltiies: Very shy and scared. Her eyes are always wide with fear. She doesn't know anything about the world, but is inwardly wise. Doesn't let anyone touch her unless she really trusts them and gets to know them, due to her history. She really is beautiful, but her scars make her look like an outcast. She wants help inside, but she's too afriad of everything.
Flaws: She can't swim, and she always falls or trips. She doesn't know what most things are such as sand or leaves due to her history. Sometimes, her powers can get out of control, but not usually.
History: Her mother kept her in a cell and fed her only one slice of bread and one tiny cup of water once a day every other day. She whipped her continously and beat her and often burned her with an iron. She would slap her and beat her, and when she was angry, things got worse. Her mother killed her father with a blowtorch. She has other children in her house that she beats and eventually kills. Before Thalia could be killed, she figured out how to escape, and ran away.
Other: Is very fragile and frail. She's constantly looking around nervously and she could break her bones easily. Her hands bleed constantly, and its getting worse.

Flaws: afraid of trying new foods. She hates doing it. Its a silly fear, but even if it was the last food on earth she wouldnt eat it
History: She lived happily with her parents when they hired a new cook. The cook made some new dish whihc her parents ate. 5 seconds after they tastted it, they dropped dead. The cook made sure they were gone and forbade Vivian to tell anyone. She treated Vivian horribly until one day when Viv went out and never came home

Appearance: She has red hair that falls just above her shoulders. She also has gray eyes. Her face is dotted with freckles.
Abilities: She can mimic other powers and block people's powers.

Flaws: lies alot. Also, talks way to much.
History: She got abused as a kid by her drunk dad. She ran away and ended up here.

Abilities: Teleportation/walking through things, and he can see the history of an object or person by touching them.
Personaltiies: Shy and quiet. He tries to stay out of people's way. Also feels kind of guilty when he sees people's history.
Flaws: Has severe trust issues. He never lets people get too close.
History: His mother had mental issues and she went crazy and killed her husband and then herself, leaving Chris alone. He was sent to his aunt and uncle's house where he thought he would be safe, but they discovered his abilities and thought he was some kind of demon child. They started beating him and he barely escaped.

Personality: Mysterious, realistic, open, secretive, a little bit of everythnig except power crazy. She's a follower. Star child and big dreamer.
Flaws: She puts too much faith in people, and often gets let down. Wears ehr heart of her sleeve
History: She has lived in Scotland all her life, so Wales isnt that far from home, if she had one. Despite being able to rememebr everybidy elses life, she cant remember anything before the age of 8. Its all sort of a blur. The only thing she remembers is her father and mother, along with her siblings, leaving her behind when they realized their little girl was communicating with strangers and bringing up bad blood between the family. She lived by herself, all alone and poverty stricken, until she found out about this school.

Abilities: She is an excellent swimmer. You could see she could hang in the water without sink or drown. She could control water a bit.
Personality: She is sometimes selfish, thinks only for herself. But when she really like or love someone, she would help them. She loves music and the sound of the wave of the sea
Flaws: She hates fire and scares of it and she couldn't draw very well.
History: Her parents were very cruel. They just want to make money and treat her like a servant. She has a brother and a sister but they were killed by her parents. Her parents attempted to do that to her by drowning her in the swimming pool and though she was die, but she actually still alive because of her ability. She ran away from her house and found Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

Abilities: He can turn invisible, crack any safe, make girls fall in love with him, is immune to achohol poisoning(he can't die from it, but he can get drunk), and can also enhance his senses to see, smell, taste, hear, or feel really well.

Flaws: He is always getting drunk and his sister has to keep him from drinking way too much.

Nationality: French (which is why she speaks English with a heavy French accent)

Abilities: She levitates and makes things levitate. She can't controle any of her abilities, and when she gets emotional, she might start levitating and make other things levitate. When she is furious, she can therefor be dangerous to be around.
Personality: She's very emotional, but she hides it behind a tough appearance. She doesn't let people come close to her. She's a bit of a loner. She's very afraid of a lot of things, but this is again something she does not show people. Because of her past, her greatest fear is to be locked up.
Flaws: She's blind. She's not good at making friends. Also it's a bit of a flaw that she can't control her powers. She's too afraid to look fear in the eyes, and she'd run if she thought something could happen to her, even if her friends depended on her.
History: Alice is from France where she lived on a vineyard that her father owned. Her childhood was happy, until the day the Germans decided to take France. Along with other French soldiers, her father died defending the country before the truce was declared. During the German occupation of France, her mother and her older sister were a part of the resistance association fighting for a free unoccupied France, and they were arrested and tortured, and eventually her mother, who was too old to handle it, was killed. Alice was never a part of the resistance, because she was too afraid that she would be arrested like so many others, but because she was related to people who were, the police assumed that she had something to do with it and arrested her anyway. She was sent to the Gestapo headquarters in Paris where she was tortured by Gestapo henchmen. They poked her eyes out, trying to make her talk. Because of her powers that were exposed during the torture and interrogation, she was declared a freak and would have been sent to a prison camp in Germany if she had not been saved by members of the resistance who succeeded in sending her to London. From London she was sent to Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, where she is now.(Wauw, this was long... but you said 'tragic', and tragedy takes time.)
Other: I'm currently reading La Bicyclette Bleue, and I have a lot of inspiration from there, including my character's last name. And yes, the picture is Lea, the main character.

History: When she was young, her powers were out of control. She got really mad one day and accidentally killed her parents. She was sent to an asylum, but she snuck out and has been living on the streets since she was 15.

Abilities: Snow and Ice abilities, She can creat blizzards and snow storms out of now where. She also has some form of Telekinisis that's very distructive. Daphne also has a beautiful voice though she dosn't concider that a power while others do since he singing seems to have a phycolological effect that differs for each person..
Personaltiies: Daphne posses a strong and self-assured personality. She only uses her energy when needed and tends to be a woman of few words. Normally she comes across as a quick thinker, indifffent and aloof. Despite her uninterested air she has no qualms speaking her mind and unexpectedly has a short-tempered side to her as well. She usually has an indifferent or disinterested expression on her face. She dosn't like it when people put them selves down and will often say:"YOu need to love your self more." in an irritated fasion as if they should have known this already. She is witty and loves to be sarcastic.
Flaws: She is offten socially inept and she also hears voices in her had most of which are her dead siblings. She insiststhat it really is them. She also has moods of murderous phycosia
History: Daphne was the last born of 6 children, who all had elemental abilities and extra small abilities. Her eldest brother Len having water, Alice having fire, Brandon, having air, Katista having earth, Senri, having darkness. Fianlly Daphne was born with ice/snow. They lived a great life until she was 8. The family lived in hiding to protect thier special children but Brandon had been caught using his pwers in the forest by villagers. They foloowed him as he fled home. They came to burn the demons. LEn took Daphne to hide her as he lead his siblings and down into a secreat passage half way down they heard the screams of thier parents. LEn stops and discussed with the older siblings what to do and they all agreed to go get thier parents. Cirtanly they could do it with all thier powers conbined, but Daphne was not allowed to go. As the older children left she tried to follow but Brandon set air to send her out the other side of the passage which was at least a mile from the house but still in veiw. Minutes later the house expolded into flames all her simbings in it.....as it burned a unseasoned blizzard began. Snow fell heavy like tears and the howls of the wind could even block out the sound of insane screams of anqiush from a year old girl

Abilities:Is able to understand any language even if he's never learned it, and is also able to control electricity, and is half wolf due to his father's wolf shapeshifter heritage.
Personalities:Daniel is like two people in one body. He has one personality where when he's in one of his highs, he loves to laugh, and he seems to lighten the moods of others, even if everything's gone bad. Though when he's in one of his lows, he isolates himself off from others, and if someone tries to calm him down or touch him, he'll flip out and most likely attack that person.
Flaws:He's Bipolar and has a weak immune system, so he gets sick often.
History:When Daniel was born, his father walked out on his mother, saying that this was all a mistake, and that he wasn't ready to be a father at that time. Danny never met his father, and his mother died of pneumonia when he was 3, and was never taken in by any of his family members because they knew about the gifts that he had. He was then sent here, and grew up here ever since.
