Publication Date and Sort by Publication Date

I'm not sure this is a "Librarian" question or a web Question. I try to sort my to read shelf by publication date. I read my oldest book and then a new bool. A month ago I sent a note about the publication date of True Blue, and Tessa corrected it. But it still sorts to the earliest when I sort on publication date, Any ideas? I love this site. It keeps me from buying the same book twice. I'd like to see a "good views" that does the same thing for movies.

I entered the 2009 date in the original publication date, which I think is the date used by the system to sort. Does this correct the sorting?

Great - I use publication date a lot too, although I'm not quite so disciplined as you are.
