Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments Did she send you Kit-Kat Chunky's?

message 1902: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) No flies on you, Jud! :-)

message 1903: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments I hope you got a peanut butter one?

I managed to eat only a third of one yesterday. I'm so proud of myself. It's been in my locker for about a week as well.

message 1904: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) Bless her Lorraine sent all the varieties through. It's going to be hard not to eat them all at one go, I'll have to pace myself! :-)

message 1905: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments I noticed Asda had 4 packs of the new flavours for sale, mint, coconut, chocolate fudge and hazlenut.

message 1906: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) That's what she sent me! The decision is which one do I choose to eat first - the peanut butter one is screaming eat me at me! lol

Which one do you think Pete would choose? :-)

message 1907: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) Wow, Jud, have you seen the news about chunky KitKats?

Btw if anyone would like a review copy of Ultimate Justice please let me know via PM. The book is die out on either Thurs or Fri of this week. :-)

message 1908: by Lorraine (new)

Lorraine | 575 comments I saw the kitkat news and thought of you Mel,had visions of you chasing Lorraine around your orchard because she had sent you contaminated kitkats.

message 1909: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) The other Lorraine feels awful about it! :-(

message 1910: by Lorraine (new)

Lorraine | 575 comments Poor Lorraine, killing off an author of thrillers with a kitkat full of plastic, might make a good book.

message 1911: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments I was telling my husband about this - what a pity it was that the shine was taken off a kind deed. Still, if it were me, I'd spit out the plastic! It's probably fine - they err on the careful side with these recalls.

message 1912: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) I know it's awful, Ignite. I had thought of that, Lorraine! I assured Lorraine not to worry as I always savour my chocloate goodies and eat them slowly anyway! lol

message 1913: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments No whats the KitKat news?

(Found it on facebook)

I'm with you Ignite, spit out the plastic and carry on eating. I'd only tell them in the hope that I'd get some more free kitkats out of it.

message 1915: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) They're going down a treat! lol

Just sent you a message, Jud. :-)

message 1916: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments Just finished guaranteed justice. Was awesome!! Love the twist in it too, a benefit of being a PI and not a police officer.

message 1917: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) Crikey, that was quick. Thanks Jud. xx

message 1929: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) Just to let you know that Foul Justice has been reduced for the next week or so to only 77 pence. You might recognise some of the names in there as they were all stolen from this group. ;-)

Foul Justice (A Lorne Simpkins Thriller, #4) by M.A. Comley

message 1930: by Lorraine (new)

Lorraine Versini (lorraineversini) | 8438 comments Stolen !!?? How can a writer of the JUSTICE series steal names ? Mel, you are really not showing a good example !

message 1931: by Lorraine (new)

Lorraine Versini (lorraineversini) | 8438 comments *joking*

message 1932: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) LOL! Okay, wrong word, borrowed perhaps. ♥

message 1933: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) OMG! I've just noticed that Amazon have reduced my boxed set of romances down to £0.49!

message 1934: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Can they just do that?

Gonna post it in the price drop thread?

message 1935: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) Yeah, they did it for IJ about 18 months ago. If I can find the thread again I will, Patti. :-)

message 1936: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Oh yeah I remember they did now.

Hold on I'll find the thread for you

message 1937: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) I found it and posted. I noticed Sibel's book has also been reduced to 49pence. She's on holiday in Australia at the moment.

message 1938: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Lucky lady!

message 1939: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) I agree, I'd love a holiday! Maybe one day. :-)

message 1940: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Well, didn't the little pumpkin go and add more to her story and its even more deeply moving now!

I forgot to ask her to forward the newest draft to you when we met about her cover today. :(

I'm sure she'd be dead chuffed if you requested it.

Oh, by the way, she's got a kindle...

You think any of your stories would appropriate for her, content-wise?

message 1941: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) Really, it was excellent already. I hope my response to her was okay, I'm a little lost when talking/writing to children.

I'd rather her not read any of my books until she's older. :-(

message 1942: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Yeah, I think that'd be best too. Perhaps you've written something about your ties to the shelters that would be appropriate though?

Mel, what you've written to her has been perfect. :)

message 1943: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) Hmm... I've got a FB page and blog which I started for Sheila and the dogs but because of the renovations I haven't really kept them up to date. http://puppyprotection.blogspot.fr/p/...

and FB https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Pr...

I'll share the links with her the next time I write to her.

Jud, that's lovely.

message 1946: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments I kissed Oscar once after applying lippy he looked dead cute with a wee pink mark on his forehead, although I ended up with dog hair stuck all over my lips.

Yeuch

message 1947: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) Aww... that's so cute, thanks Jud. Sorry for the delay the internet has been driving me up the wall this week. Another technician from France telecom, who we left last year, is coming out on Wednesday.

I have a bit of news I'd like to share with you. Cruel Justice has been sitting in the top 100 on B&N for the past week and was named yesterday on this site as one of the top Mystery reads for April. http://www.mediabistro.com/galleycat/...

I went to the UK to check Cruel Justice's ranking over there and noticed that Amazon have lowered the price to 49 pence for some reason.

Now, if only the 'net stayed on long enough to help me get the word out!

Other news, I'm 6000 words away from finishing the first draft of Torn Apart, should be completed by next weekend. :-)

Have a good weekend everyone. ♥

Katy | 2662 comments Hope your internet gets fixed soon, Mel!

Great results for CJ! (:

Can't wait for the new book!

message 1949: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) Thanks Katy, I'm out in the garden as the internet is going very slow today, can't be bothered to wait for the little circle to finish spinnning on the screen!

I wouldn't want to wait for the little circle either! Is there anything you can do about it?

I'm only online during my "breaks" from revision to check emails, check here, and find some extra information for some of my resource topics! (: I am in the house with all the windows open and some music playing though!
