Amy Nielsen While I had hoped this book was more in a biographical format, it was actually a timeline of events for Joseph and Emma's lives. It even included seemingly less important events but often included events that were not well-known or mentioned frequently in commonly read reference literature such as births/deaths of their all of their children. Did you realize that they had 6 children die and the related circumstances for each one? Wow!

Anyway, this book was very educational and I learned a lot about church history not to mention Emma Smith's personality, level of loyalty, charity and why she did some of the things she did.

Definitely a recommendation for those of you interested in learning more about church history.
