No reviews, but when I try to delete it it says "only superlibrarians can delete a book with so many reviews".
Really it should be merged with this:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/74...
but I'm going to leave it alone so you can see the error message.

Re: msg 521 - I am trying to get that one, but I keep getting "unexpected error".

Heather, that's not why you personally can't delete it (because it has so many reviews). But we don't delete books with ISBNs. As a super I could delete it (I can delete books with so many reviews) but when it has an ISBN it will just reimport into the system.
And in this case it is most definitely a legitimate edition, so it should not be deleted.

Is anyone else having this issue?

It gave you that message because it was not combined with any other editions. Therefore, if it had reviews, and it got deleted, those reviews would have been lost, having nothing else with which to merge. Therefore only Supers can delete a book that is not combined with another book. However, I do agree that the message is misleading.

I prefer it because I don't want people to realize that they can just combine and delete. I'd much rather have them post in here (above case in point).

I agree with that, I always figured it was easier to run the current script than change it. But I guess it is true either way that only a super can delete the book.

Is anyone else having this issue?"
I'm having this same problem

Thanks,
S.G. Rogers

Unfortunately in this case we should not delete it. Many people have read and reviewed that particular version of the book. We don't delete OOP books (or ebook equivalent) because those are editions people have read.
We can, however, combine it with the other title. Could you link to that book? We can put a note on it that they are the same book (mostly), just different titles.

I wasn't sure you could do that with different ISBN numbers. Here's the new book:

When I go to my author dashboard, I'd love to see only the newer book, or at least have the prior version go last.
I really appreciate the help!!!

There is currently no way to change this.

One last little wrinkle...the link to Amazon isn't working. It should be:
http://www.amazon.com/Last-Great-Wiza...

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/978%......"
The problem you're having is because you changed the information on the Createspace edition to make it the ebook - without a proper ISBN or ASIN the Amazon link will not work from that edition.
Please keep in mind that Goodreads is primarily about users being able to track and discuss books that they have read and owned. Even though you have released a revised edition with a new cover/publisher/etc, the original edition still exists on someone's bookshelf somewhere and they should be able to catalogue it as such.
I've reverted the changes to the paperback ISBN-13 9781450579254 and added a note to the description that the edition is out of print and linked the new edition. The Amazon link on this edition will point to the page of the old edition (which, while not available directly through amazon is available used through sellers on Amazon) and not the new edition, but this is the appropriate way to list books here.

Thanks for your help."
Don't worry about it, it gets complicated. That's what the librarians are here for ;)

There is no ISBN, I've found no indication that the publisher ever released a complete 'set' of all five volumes of Waltz wa Shiroi Dress at one time, and it seems to be just a placeholder for the series itself.

There are still two of the same showing up. Am I doing something wrong?

I combined it with the other 2 editions

It's a duplicate of this one http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/64...
Thanks!

Thx.
