~Jennifer~ (book_addiction) What non-physical qualities are so appealing in the men you read about in books that you would like them translated into real life?

(Guys - you can do the same for the ladies!)

~Jennifer~ (book_addiction) One of mine would be how the lovely, lovely, guys always seem to value someone else’s happiness as much as, if not above, their own, and doing something merely to make that person happy. Much like Nick in Fragile (Rafferty, #1) by Shiloh Walker !

I'm loving Simon"s (from Only Yours (Fool's Gold, #5) by Susan Mallery ) intensity, and the way he is so focused on Montana. For him their are honestly no other women, they just don't even come close, not even her very identical sisters!

I also LOVE it when guys truly appriciate who their gal is. Not only do they not try and change her but they incourage her to do what she needs to do, even when it drives them nuts, or scares them out of their heads! Adam from Moon Called (Mercedes Thompson, #1) by Patricia Briggs is a prime example of this. Even though he is an Alpha (or rather the Alpha) he doesn't try and make Mercy into something she is not, and he lets her run off and get in all kinds of trouble...though he does always make sure to know exactly what she is doing...lol!

Tegan (therowdylibrarian) I have to say I love how sweet Stephen is in Only Mine (Fool's Gold, #4) by Susan Mallery . He genuinely cares about Aurelia and wants to make sure that he does what's best for her and for the both of them. He thinks about them as a whole. He's very mature for a 21 year old man. Hopefully he continues to be! :)

Kelly Lynn (lemonpink418) | 189 comments I love a man who shows he cares by doing the little things. I know I've used Kate Angell's Squeeze Play (Richmond Rogues, #1) by Kate Angell for other things, but I absolutely adore Risk Kincaid. He's a major league baseball player, but the woman he loves is laid up with a broken ankle and he not only has impeccable bedside manner, but also takes care of running her business. His thoughtfullness and caring are what make him one of my favorite heroes.

And Tegan, I agree about Stephen. He's a little underrated I think because theirs was a secondary story, but I think his maturity and genuine caring made him adorable.

Kelly, I'm going to have to give Kate Angell a try. I will admit the covers have always turned me off, but you seem to really like them.

Kelly Lynn (lemonpink418) | 189 comments Shell, her newer covers are a little more mainstream so they aren't quite as off putting. I'll admit a lot of the dialogue is cheesy, but it makes me laugh and it's about baseball, so for me it's a win-win!

Kelly, I just read a novella by her in the Unwrapped by Erin McCarthy anthology, and I really liked it! All three of them were a bit cheesey, but it was cute, and got me in the christmas mood early!lol

~Jennifer~ (book_addiction) In a book I read recently, the hero went out and bought a really nice vacuum for the heroine. HE would vacuum when he got worried or upset (and that was a frequen occurence - plus he did her laundry and put it away, and CLEANED the entire apartment). lol I like that. I told my husband to get with it. If a fictional boy can pull it off, surely a real life one can too.

And how did your husband respond to that?lol

~Jennifer~ (book_addiction) Oh he thought that was amusing and wanted to know what i'd been smoking. Lol
