BTW, the Alamo is where a great battle was fought between Texans wanting to claim it for the US and fought against President General Antonio Lopez De Santa Anna.
It lasted 13 days and while Mexico won and killed all but 5 Texans, it gave Sam Houston time to build another attack.
Just fYI, I used to live in San Antonio...lol
