Holy CRAP Lindsay!!! I think my soul just screamed in fear of that scenario you just painted! Granted, I get the conceptual idea of obsession to the extreme (I'm that way with all Sherrilyn Kenyon's series/the Dark-Hunter books.) - However, I'm not so far gone that I would turn into a blithering idiot who foams at the mouth at criticism against Sherri's writing/books.
Defensive obsessed fans are moronic to the extreme, I swear.

I used to watch it a lot growing up, too, and it was definitely one of my favorites. Second only to, I think, Rugrats and Hey Arnold.
To each their own, of course. I can't say really why it was that I liked either Rugrats or Hey Arnold, per se. Another favorite I adored, probably because I really liked the characters in it, was the show Doug. I don't even think the show is still on the air anymore, but I definitely adored it!
Wasn't it the best?!Ugh, now that sucks. I really hate when good shows get canceled. (*Prays to the powers that be that Supernatural will NEVER get canceled!* LOL)
Oh, Linday!!! If you like the paranormal, LOVE sexy men, occasional dry sarcasm and humor, adore great writing done with amazing stories...you've GOT to watch it! It's really hard to describe exactly what Supernatural is, since they're in the sixth season and each season changes the story. However, the very brief overview is that is focuses on two brothers. In the world of Supernatural, evil does exist, and do monsters, but the world doesn't know about it. As such, there are pocketed groups of people known as Hunters who know about the truth of what's in the dark, and they kill/eliminate those creatures.
But I promise you, the series is a LOT bigger than that with every season raising the bar, but to say more would give away a lot of spoilers. It is, by far, the single best show on television, and is insanely addictive!
PS: The show stars Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and (in early seasons) Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Yeah, good point. What could I use to repel the extreme twilight fans or fight them off if necessary?
A decent book maybe? One of my twilight fan friends (not an extreme obsessed one)to calm them down? Hmm, this plan needs more thought. A bit more than a year should be enough time to prepare the ultimate twilight fan defence. Any ideas?

i actully love the books but hate the movie. i am not a twilight fan girl. i just like the way Stephenie Meyer write. and the books are so diffrent from the movies. and poeple get really get out of hand when if comes to twilight. they are fictional characters that will never come to life. that is what i think. if you hate me bc i like twilight i really dont care.
i agree with you on that one the girl who plays bella is terrible. and dont get me started on edward. and i agree with on that one to not every one but most really need to get a life.

Hehehe :).I swear, Supernatural is already the single best show on TV (not opinion - FACT!) - But when Gamble wrote the script to make fun of Twilight, it rocked it all the harder! (Though she already "kinda" did it in season five, episode two or three when Dean killed a vampire and said "Eat it, Twilight."

Oh my GOD Lindsay - you HAVE to watch that show!!!! Supernatural is freakin' AMAZING!But, sadly, I don't recommend you watching the current seasons if you're not current with the past five years. I mean, you totally can, but I promise you're going to miss out on so, so much. You won't be as connected to the characters, some plot points won't make AS much sense, things like that.
But seriously, I can promise you that you will love the show. It is literally impossible NOT to love Sam and Dean Winchester :) - (not to mention Jared and Jensen, LOL.)

I read 4 pages of this group. I think that haters should have a group and Twi-lovers should shut up! Unless they can give reasons why to read the devil's book. Anyway...I read all the books, cause I decide whether I like it or if I don't by reading it...NOT by accepting someone else's opinions. OMG!!! So, yesterday I saw the new Harry Potter movie (kicked ass; I cried) and there, of course, were some commercials for movies at the beginning. There was Kong Fu Panda 2 (MUST SEE), The Green Hornet (looked hilarious), the Green Lantern (meh...aliens), Cowboys and Aliens (EW!! ALIENS!!) and thisone weird little movie...
The beginning of the commercial had two people, a guy and a girl, the girl wearing a red cloak-thing. The guys says, "I would do anything to marry you." The girl responds, "Yes, but alas I am married to Sir. Blah Blah."
And the next scene, who would have guessed that Sir. Blah Blah is dead! By now I'm thinking, "Oh great, a Twi-hard film." And then the scene switches again to a kinda meeting, and some bearded dude is saying, "There is a werewolf in our midst! Someone killed Sir Blah Blah and the other villagers!"
Me: Yup, Twitlight.
The, all this epic music plays, and the screen and some deep-voiced announcer states "From the director of Twilight."
Me: Oh gawd.
Some other stuff happens, and then the dude with the beard is saying to the main girl, "You know who the werewolf is. So tell me!"
Me: *slits throat*
Then you see the lead girl, standing on this cliff, holding a basket and wearing her red riding hood.
Me: NO!!! THEY MADE A TWILIGHT LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD!
And, alas, they did. But it's called Little Red Riding Hood.

I dislike Sci-fi movies.
Except Star Gate and Star Trek, and I used to love Star Wars. I mean, I don't mind watching them, just not on a twice a year basis.
