Kimberly please kindly take your negativity and shove it up your ass :) I read all the books so I could judge it fairly. I don't believe in passing judgement until I have given something a fair chance. After the need to stab my eyes out passed I decided that maybe the first book was just a fluke. Maybe SM used Twilight as a warm up. Unfortunately, things only went downhill (FAST) after twilight (which was already sub-terranian)

And PLEASE. Spare me the whole "omg bella is like totally awesome!" schpeel. I get it--you have no personality and would like to think that someone just as dull and insipid as Bella could have a semi-exciting life.

Bella is a sad excuse for a character. She is pathetic, whiny, needy, helpless, self-absorbed ... need i go on??? So NO. I do not wish i was some whiny brat with no grace whatsoever.

So good luck to you in your hopeless quest for a decent life. With Bella as your role model, I doubt you'll get past mediocrity.

Wow, its hard for me to keep up with this chat room thing. I just had to read 82 new messages! Anyways...lol something Rosie said in message 158 made me crack up and see Twilight Haters side even more (not that I hate it now!) It was the whole "Alright, Kimberly, why on earth would I want to be Bella? She's a lazy, self-centered Mary-Sue with a sparkely boyfriend." Hehe... anyways....did they really put sex scenes in the Twilight movie??!? I havent really been keeping up on the movie news...but that is just creepy! Yuck yuck yuck. Another thing that I thought was just plain weird in Breaking Dawn is that Bella had her baby at 18 and Charlie didnt even freak out. I dont think thats very....realistic..lol thats an ironic word for a book about vampires and wearwolves.

The most basic definition of a Mary Sue is a self-insert, although it doesn't have to be. Trust me, sweetheart, Bella's a Mary Sue. She's has no real flaws, or rather none that are perceived by other characters. (Clumsiness is not flaw, just a hint there.) What I'm saying is that even if you and I realize she's annoying, insipid, and stupid, it doesn't matter, because the author does not acknowledge it.

Well, for one thing, its an embarassment to my religion!! I am mormon just like SM and so now almost every none mormon thinks we're just like SM's books! Then second of all, I was really annoyed by how dull and unoriginal the book was! "I am Bella Swan. My life is boring. I am dull. I am moving to Washington." blah blah she just keeps draging on and on. Second of all, I am sick of hearing about Edward's "velvety sexy" voice. His "perfect body". Ya know? Its like when your best friend won't stop talking about her BF/ guy she likes! It just gets annoying after a while. I could go on and on but right now I'm doing English Homework and don't have time!
