yeah, thanks...i can't actually burn the book, since i don't have a fireplace, but I think I'll dress up as Stephanie Meyer this halloween, that'll scare somebody :P

lol16. You go to your school library just because all the library monitors are twi-wards and you want to laugh while taking all the Twilight books (from the library or bookstore) and sticking them in paper shredders and then burning them (because just shredding them won't undo the evil!

Yeah. Twilight was about the most predictable, dumb and lame book I ever read. And about vampires? Anita Blake is a diamond compared to these(the early ones) or Cirque du freak. A series of kid vampire novels were more exciting. It's a about the worst love story I have read. And why? It was basically the entirely helpless girl character who must be saved by her oh so perfect vampire boy friend that killed it for me. I thought, as a girl reading it, it was really insulting to my intelligence. We live in the 21st century, you think love stories wouldn't be trapped in the 1950's. I know my elite Literature teacher hates Twilight. She dropped a line about it in our annual literary publication:"This is an era when it is possible for instance to take Vampiric myth, the very mystery of carnal communion in blood and flesh, Death and the Spirit, hijack them and dilute them to reinforce Stepford-wife representations of domestic bliss."

Did anyone see the new episode of South Park last night? It was about the goths getting pissed off that they were being lumped-in with the preppies becoming safe vampires who were into Twilight. They never did anything that was bad for them, like smoking, and drank tomato juice. So the goth kids burned down Hot Topic and held an assembly at school saying that they are not to lumped-in with the vampires. They said "If you hate the son, wear black and do things that are bad for you, you are a goth." Then they said: "If you think you're a vampire, you're a retard." They ended the assembly by saying: "F&^% all of you." The crowd of kids applauded and cheered.
Thought that was eerily appropriate.

I don't watch south park either. I'm too focused on Twilight Abridged. We created new character profiles. Emett will be out soon since he was in the latest page. The characters up are Carlisle, Edward, Alice and Jasper. Yeah, we do, it's an evil book, a very evil book. So evil that we are cursed to spend the rest of our lives ranting about it...DEAL WITH IT! In conclusion, I am adding to the list:

Alright, I don't recall ever actualy posting in this forum before now, but I'd just though I'd say something.
Places like this are set up to vent and discss your opinions without having your head ripped off by rabid fans.
It's hard to ignore something when it's being shoved in your face almost everywhere you go, it's human nature to want to say something.
