I'm already starting to read the book, guys! haha I'm kind of anxious if the story will have a happy ending or not coz the first few pages already depict sad/depressing stories. :(

btw, how much does it cost sa bookstore?
Hmm... Ate Jho just lent me her copy. But she said, and I saw the price tag at the back cover, it costs P499. :))

Jho OMG. Me too!!! I mean, it's fine if you borrow a book, but as a borrower, learn how to return it right?! Especially if the books you lend have sentimental value. But, what can I say, they're my friends, how can I say no.. And besides, I was the one who asked them to try reading a book AND actually finish it.. Hehe! :D

@jho: i read it somewhere that he gave away his books and only kept his faves because he believes that books are to be read and not kept... =) you should... especially, his early works...

@Vienda: haha, I try not to lend books that were given to me as a gift. So I'd hide them hahaha. I can always buy the ones I lost, but I can hardly ask my friend to buy the same book for me! You can check pala yung mga books na binigay sa akin sa pix ko. I have yet to complete it though. Konti lang nandyan

my cousin, uncle and several friends are either lawyers, taking up law, or reviewing for the bar... i love arguing with them on basically anything... hahaha...

None taken. There's actually a lot of reason why I want to be a lawyer. I think it all started when I was having my vacation at my dad's birthplace (Caramoan. I hope you're familiar with the place). My gramps, who was then the brngy captain, was talking to these farmers about how they were gonna lose their land without a fight cause they didn't have a legal counsel, and all those they asked for help turned them down cause the farmers had nothing to pay for the attorney's fees. I felt bad for them, cause, you know, it isn't fair that you'll lose something that you've worked your whole life for just because you were born poor. I think I was 11, then. When I got home I told my parents that I want to be lawyer. They asked me why, so I told them my side.
Not to mention that I've seen lots of injustices here in our country. I mean, a blind man could see that. I just thought I could help change that if I'd be a lawyer someday..
