Phil (lanark) | 15 comments I find it odd that when I add a book to my "To Read" shelf, the date I add it to that shelf will be the unchanging date that I started reading this book - even if it takes me 6 months to move it to "Currently Reading", unless I delete it and add it again.

Is there any way that the date the book's moved to "Currently Reading" is made the date the book's begun or at the very least make the date editable.

Thanks - thought I'd make a suggestion.

Elizabeth (Alaska) Phil, for me, moving a book to Currently Reading is the date the system carries for starting to read the book. The Date Added is the date the book is added to your shelves regardless of to which shelf you added it. I wish this Date Added were editable. Rarely does a book make it directly to my To Read shelf.
