Lora | 81 comments Please someone tell me that there is a Kindle edition of To Kill a Mockingbird?? All I can find is summaries and all kinds of other stuff on it. I'm thinking there isn't because booklending.com doesn't even have it to borrow! What is up with that?

Dee (austhokie) | 370 comments The rights for TKAMB still belong to Harper Lee, who is alive and kicking, and she isn't interested in seeing her work on an ereader

Lora | 81 comments Well that stinks. I wonder why? People would still be reading the book, what makes the difference whether it's in kindle format or not?

Everly Anders | 71 comments I think sometimes it is about not being able to get the rights. I have noticed this with several books I figured must be on here.

Dee (austhokie) | 370 comments Harper Lee basically doesn't want the book to be read that way, is my understanding - since she came under fire quite significantly when it was first published (accused of not being the true writer and the like), I don't blame her
