A Place of Execution

I haven't seen any discussion about this book. I just finished it 2 days ago and I gave it 4 stars. This was my first book by this author. The ending was a TOTAL shock to me. (view spoiler)[I had a feeling that the stepfather didn't really kill her, but I kept guessing and guessing as to who else it could be. I sure never saw the surprise coming that they had totally fooled everybody and she was still alive. Loved it. (hide spoiler)]
I rarely read books any more that are a total shock and I love when that happens.

Linda, this time around I listed to the audiobook of A Place of Execution. It's very well done.
