Add role - in foreign language

When I'm adding a book in foreign language, in what language should I add the information about the author? For example, when I'm adding the translator's name, should the "role" be in English (translator) or in the language the actual book is?

There is no hard and fast rule Reetta.

Because I am an English speaker I use English. If you know the correct term in the language of the book, that is just as good :)
