Dj awoke, sitting up and looking around. Was Vernon still here?

Vernon rested his head against the wall his eyes closed.
Dj stood up. "Vernon? Are you still here?"
Dj looked around, eventually finding him. "You stayed here?"
She gave him a look. "I don't need guarding." She walked over to him and poked him in the chest.
ANother poke. "No, I don't. And since you think I do. Then from what?"
"From the people that I'm working for." He replied
Caitlin wrote: "Rose smiled and looked at him. "Well thats more than I do, thats for sure." She chuckled."
"Well, what do you find interesting?"
"Well, what do you find interesting?"
"Why would you need to protect me from them?"
"At night especially at full moon," He pointed to it, "They come out to hunt for their food."
"And they would break into a horse stables to eat? That's crazy talk."
"No, no." Vernon shook his head, "They would steal souls of sleeping people."
Dj's eyes widened. "Well thanks for helping me keep my soul. I kind if did want to keep it."
She nodded. "You can go now. If you want. Bu I don't know why you did protect me anyways. We barely even know eachother..."
"I don't want people losing their young lives." Vernon shook his head
She squinted. "Then why do you work for them?"
Dj rolled her eyes. "One line answers? Really?"
"I can't explain no more. First, they would punish me and second, it's far too dear." Vernon shrugged
Dj whispered. "Are they secretly watching us behind the horses?"
He laughed softly, "I don't think so."
Dj chuckled. "Then how would they know?" She said in her normal voice.
"They have magic." He rolled his eyes
"Whatevs. And I can protect myself." She smiled.
"Of course, but in this case no." Vernon stood stretching
She glared. "I am not weak." She transpoprted to the end of the stables, walking away.
"May I ask where are you going?" Vernon watched her
Dj looked back. "No, you may not. You freaking pretty much called me a weakling!"

Rose smiled softly. "Um a lot of things. Horse riding, music, tennis, reading, magic sort of, other people." She said looking at him.

Rose thought for a relatively good time and shook her head finally. "No sorry, but it sounds interesting. Do they right romance songs or are they classical or ?"

Dj backed up next to him. SHe knew if lightning struck it would strike her. Dj gave hima a confused look.
"I bet you are causing that." Vernon frowned again
