This is Michael's Literary Fiction piece. While we're putting it here as a WIP (Work in Progress) it is actually a completed novel. After years of studying writing by reading other authors, this is Michael's "Great American Novel". It is about a flawed protagonist who has wasted his life and now at forty is presented with a chance for love. He is faced with the decison to make his first, and last, grasp for a life he feels has alluded him all his life.
It was actually this book that put Michael into a ten year hiatis from writing. When he couldn't get this published it was the straw that broke his camel's back and he quit writing creatively. Now that he's found some success from The Riyria Revelations it's time to dust this puppy off and see if it is worth pursuing publication once more.
