As you know Heather the Quad-Cities is one of my favorite places. We just need some form of "literary" event so we can make a trip a legitmate in the eyes of the IRS ;-)

Would love to see you in Miami! The Miami Book Fair International is in November and would be a good excuse to come visit!

Today is our last day in Atlanta. Because of Hurricane Irene we had to extednd our stay in the West and only stopped at home for a quick second before heading out again (flew out the very next day! Dragoncon was HUGE. Much larger than I expected and I'm glad that we are going home today.

A friend of mine was there. I totally forgot you were going to be there. I should have told her to find you! I hope it went well - outside Irene casing a delay in getting home!

It was pretty crazy - this was my first dragoncon and had no idead there would be that many people there (I'm used to smaller cons). Apparently more than 40,000 people went.
