Was I the only one who read all the endings before choosing which path to take?

Who else was a cheater?

I allowed myself to progress naturally through a story, but before I'd choose a particular path I'd mark my page with my finger or a piece of paper so if I met an unfortunate end, I could immediately backtrack and choose the other option. Pretend like I never picked the "wrong" path, if you know what I mean. Because sometimes the story becomes too good to have to start back at the beginning!

OK, OK ... you caught me. I don't think I read one CYOA book where I didn't "cheat." I totally did what Annie did ;p

I read through the book a few times choosing all possible endings, so I always ended up having quite a few adventures
