I am very interested in science, but I am struggling to get engaged with this book and have considered abandoning it... still 100 pages to go...

Regarding Gödel and Turing
p.3 "Their genius is a testament to our own worth, an antidote to insignificance; and their bounteous flaws are luckless but seemingly natural complements as though greatness can only be doled out with an equal measure of weakness."

Historical fiction examining the lives of Godel and Turing and Wittgenstein, where and how their lives intersect, the questions they asked about truth and math, their contributions, their processes, and ultimately their tragedy. Almost unreadably sad.
