Not just my favorite book from the series, but my favorite book ever.
Anyone else?

I don't like this book at all. I gave it 2 stars. I think it was the worst in the seres.

I really loved this book, and it did make me bawl, but I actually like the Deathly Hallows a tiny smidgen better. This one is my second favorite book in the series.

Mine! I loved how much bigger the world was in this book. It wasn't just Harry at school anymore, but became much larger than that. The different groups in this book, (the Order, the Ministry, DA) made the war seem much closer to home. And although I can't stand Umbridge, the change in Headmaster made the world of Hogwarts much more vulnerable. Instead of Harry and Dumbledore defeating evil simply because they're the good guys, the story became more political, and of course, not all the good guys survived this one...

I didn't like this book, I liked it the least in the series. It was kinda boring. The whole Umbridge thing got really tiring and there wasn't really much action. And the whole Cho thing was a little unnecessary.

morgan I agree completely... its not that it was a bad book, but it just wasn't very exciting ...more

Between this and tpoa, it was a long read, but a great one!

Eh, it was only okay. Definitely not my favorite book in the series... it had some good parts but was generally slow.

I loved this book it was sooo good!!! I liked how she put another evil charachter into the mix!! I also liker 3 and the last 2 (6 and 7)!!!! Harry and Ginny kiss in the 6th one (sorry if that was a spoiler)!!!

It was my favourite till the Deathly Hallows turned up, now it's been beaten out of first spot rather badly.

I loved this one though Umbridge tried her hardest to make me hate it. The DA meetings, the Order members, Sirius, the beginning AND ending were nearly the best in the series. God the ending is so good in the department of mysteries. *sob*

It ties with Chamber of Secrets for my 2nd favorite of the series. Okay, I know that it technically isn't my favorite, but I'm voting anyway because so many people think it's the worst in the series.

I liked it for its explorations into the darker side of psychology, such as how Rowling illustrated PTSD in Harry.

Hmmm... No, I prefer the Goblet of Fire, I think that's the best by far! Anyway, I still love this one :)

Yay, I love all from the series but SO FAR I think this is my Favorite even though I hate some things that happen but it's okay I just wish Sirius didn't die bur if he didn't Arthur Will die and I don't want anyone of them to die T_T (*CRIES)

Favourite of the series.

All of the books in the series are superb. My personal favorite is "The Half Blood Prince." I hope Rawlings decides to create a new series in this imaginary world. How about a 7 book series starring Harry's parents at Hogwarts?

Mine :D

Mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, it's a between that and half-blood prince, they are both excellent and well thought out!

I love this book so much! It's my favorite book from the series, not all time favorite thought. I just enjoyed it so much, so many great moments and so many sad moments. The main reason it's my favorite is because of Luna. She is just awesome.

This is also my least favorite but it might be because I've seen the movie too many times. My favorite in the entire series comes from this book though. "You do care," said Dumbledore. He had not flinched or made a single move to stop Harry demolishing his office. His expression was calm, almost detached. "You care so much you feel as though you will bleed to death with the pain of it.”
― J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Oh, the book was good but it wasn't the best of the series. I don't have a specific favorite, but I know this one isn't it. The first, third, and sixth are some of my favorites though.

It's tied second for me with Deathly Hallows. A very very close second.

This book is one of my favorite harry potter books. I love this book :).

*raises two hands and a foot*
Everyone seems to hate on it, but it is just amazing!

Not my favorite book of all time, but definitely my favorite of the series.

Mine too!!! I adore this book and I think it may have something to do with the fact that it was the first Harry Potter book I read completely on my own, it's also the largest and quite the accomplishment for youngish child.
Oh and the storyline is GOOD!

YEAH!!!!! Favorite book from the series, but least favorite movie.

I really liked it. It's my most often read. But it comes second to Deathly Hallows.

Totally love this book. My very favorite HP! Also, one of my favs ever!

MY FAVE BOOM IN THE WORLD!

My favourite of the series too - partly because it was the longest and partly cos it was the first book to ever make me cry :)

Mine;) I think it's the best one because of the DA!
(although the romance With Cho, I'm glad it dies.)

This was my favourite book and least favourite film. It was executed extremely poorly (in my humble opinion). But I think I just expected a lot more than they could cram into a few hours.

It's been a long time since I read it, so I can't think why I liked this one best. It's definitely between this and Azkaban, but I'm a sucker for a long book, and how can you have an HP book without Luna?

Me. Mainly because of Luna and her words to Harry at the end, but I also loved the D.A. and occulmency.

This was my favorite book for a bunch of reasons. First, Umbridge. I totally despised her, but she was definitely a character I loved to hate. That was the first time I'd ever experienced that feeling for a character in any book.

Also, this book marks a huge shift in the entire series. It's not light-hearted 'defeat Voldemort whenever he shows up' anymore. This book really makes you appreciate the hugeness of the war and how it's affecting everyone, not just Harry. When the government starts to get involved, laws start to be made, and precautions are put in place, you really start to get a feel of what is actually happening.

I loved this book! It was actually my favorite from the whole series. I literally sobbed my eyes out throughout the rest of the book when Sirius died. :'( I felt so bad for Harry because in the third book he finds out that he has family (his godfather) that he can live with and be loved by, but then things don't work out that way... however, although Harry can't live with Sirius he at least can see him once in a while and communicate with him and that was so nice that Harry finally has a parental figure in his life now — but it doesn't last long, in the fifth book Harry loses Sirius in the battle that took place in the ministry and it made me cry so much when Harry was trying to tell himself that he's just behind the veil and that he'll come out laughing soon enough.
However, I did not like the way the movie adapted this book so much, I guess I just had too many expectations... but I did love the scene in the Ministry of Magic in the room lined up with all the prophecies, I thought it was filmed very well!

Best.Book.Ever.

It was my favourite from the whole series manly because of Luna she without the doubt the most interesting character I have ever read.

I don't have a favourite but this is the book that made me a HP fan. This is the first HP book I read and before reading it I hated HP. But after reading this HP series is one of my absolute favourites.

It was one of the longest and thrilling books I've reading in Harry Potter, I never thought the book could be any better

yeah - i thought it was the moment the series really took off into a whole other level of awesome. tied with Deathly Hallows for my favorite... and the coolest title of the bunch! imo

My favorite harry potter books are the order of the phoenix and the goblet of fire.

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! one of the best in the series. :D

i love this book

Eah book has a special place in my heart, cheesy, I know. But I love this books far more than Goblet.

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favorite of the series, by far!! I think the charachter development in this is just mind-blowing. It was really emotional too, you saw a lot of Harry's resentment and anger at being left in the dark while also being expected to "take care" of everyone else. MY next favorite was the Half Blood Prince.

Love it! Maybe not my favourite. It would be so hard for me to choose!

It isn't my favorite from the series but it is def one of my favorites. I love how Harry is so dark in this one whilst trying to deal with the repercussions of the last book and the fact that nobody believes him about voldemorts return. We really get to see Voldemorts hold on him as well with all the visions. I love all the Dumbledore's Army stuff and of course Umbridge is somebody you just love to hate. What an evil little woman!
