"what about your arm" she asked

[Zachman]

"You haven't noticed that it has gears protruding from it and it's made of metal?"

[Fiamata]

"that's not weird" she said

[Zachman]

"Yes it is! No normal person has mechanical arms."

[Fiamata]

she thought of her own arm "are you ashamed of it?"

[Zachman]

"No. Why would I be?"

[Fiamata]

"cause you called it weird" she said

[Zachman]

"That doesn't mean I am ashamed of it. I never wanted it to be here but it was something I needed, so I shouldn't be ashamed. Man I have got a lot to teach you."

[Fiamata]

"why did you need it" she asked

[Zachman]

"I am missing my right arm."

[Fiamata]

"how did you loose it" she asked

"It was an accident, and it hurt like h***!"

"oh" she said "what does h*** feel like" she asked

[Zachman]

Charles laughed. "It's an expression! Haha I'm REALLY have a lot to teach you!"

she blushed feeling embarrassed

[Zachman]

"Don't look like that! You just need to get out more. I know! Lets watch some TV! That should catch you up on some modern stuff!"

[Fiamata]

"what's tv" she asked

[Zachman]

"Television. It plays moving pictures through a box. Here I'll show you" he said turning on the tv in his room.

[Fiamata]

she jumped, startled at first then crept closer to the tv and studied it with curiosity written across her face

[Zachman]

Charles couldn't help but laugh at her reaction. "You've seriously never seen one of these before?"

[Fiamata]

she walked over to it and tapped on the screen

[Zachman]

"It's not gonna do anything. All you do is watch and listen."

[Fiamata]

she looked at him. "that's it?"

[Zachman]

"Yeah. It's for entertainment."

[Fiamata]

she frowned "it doesn't sound entertaining"

[Zachman]

"Just watch it for a little while."

[Fiamata]

"fine" she said and sat on his bed watching the tv

[Zachman]

"Hmm, all I gotta do now is figure out where you will sleep."

[Fiamata]

she shrugged and curled up on her side on the bed, watching the tv

[Zachman]

Charles sighed. "I guess your sleeping there then."

[Fiamata]

"thank you" she said quietly, already half asleep

[Zachman]

Charles grabbed a blanket from his closet and set up on the floor. Man today has been a long day he thought then fell asleep.

[Fiamata]

as she slept her body glowed an erie blue color. It was very faint

[Zachman]

Charles woke up because he had to use the bathroom. When he came back he saw Jinx glowing! He wasn't sure what to do, so he left her and went back to bed.

[Fiamata]

jinx slept soundly, it was the first time in months she had a good night sleep

[Zachman]

Charles got up early to get food for them both. He didn't want his parents or sister seeing him sneak food. He brought it back and was about to wake Jinx up, but decided to let her sleep.

[Fiamata]

as soon as she heard the door open she had woken up, but pretended to be asleep, she heard it open again and could hear charles' footsteps. she opened her eyes but didn't move

[Zachman]

It was around in the morning when he decided to finally wake her up. He walked over to the bed and shook her slightly.

[Fiamata]

she looked at him

[Zachman]

"Wake up. I brought you some food."

[Fiamata]

she sat up on the bed

[Zachman]

"Here" he said handing her the plate of food.

[Fiamata]

"thank you" she said staring at it. she took it cautiously and sniffed it, before nibbling on it, then waiting to see if anything happened

[Zachman]

"It's not gonna bite you" he said eating some of his own.

[Fiamata]

she glanced at him then decided that it was ok to eat

[Zachman]

"So what do you want to do today? I don't have work since school is tarting again soon, so I am free for the next few weeks."

[Fiamata]

she looked at him, she had scarfed her food down within minutes. "I don't know" she said softly, this was a new experience, she had never been asked what she wanted to do, she was always told what she was supposed to do

[Zachman]

"How about we go get you some clothes of your own?"

[Fiamata]

"alright" she said

[Zachman]

"Alright, follow me, and be quiet!"
