Hi! My pen name is Violetta Vane and I'm a long time fan of science fiction and fantasy.

I don't know if I'll be able to read the Gerrold book in time, but I have to say, I've loved many of his other books and got to meet him at the Doctor Who convention this year.

I'm also a writer, and together with my co-writer Heidi Belleau I've finished an urban fantasy novel with some banging time travel sequences in medieval Ireland. Yes, there is also gay druid romance and it was awesome fun to write.

Here's the novel in a nutshell: "To break a curse inherited from a family that never wanted him, an outcast Cuban son of the Boston O’Hara family seeks out the help of an Irish druid-for-hire. Condemned to the mercy of the mad sidhe lords of ancient Ireland, they turn to each other for strength but find unexpected love."
