Isa sat down at an empty table, scanning the room for monsters out of habit. It was school though, there weren't any there.
Jaz flopped down in a corner, producing a candle stub and matched from her jacket.
Jay entered the cafeteria, her eyes scanning the room. She rested her gaze on Isa and then turned to Jaz,
Isa felt someone's gaze on her and her head snapped up. She was pretty sure the girl was a Grimm, so she gave her a small wave.
Jay gave her a little smile and sat at an empty table.
Jaz slipped her sleeves over her hands, walking up to the other slightly familiar people and slipping into the seat opposite.
Jay nodded to Jaz and lay her head on her hands.
"Hi," Isa said to Jaz, looking at her for a minute. She'd seen her around, she must live at the house too. She looked back at her food and pushed her fork around, not hungry.
Jay glanced at them, following their actions.
"Mmhp." Jaz murmured, leaning her head in her arms on the table. "Idon'tlikecafeterias."
Jay listened to Jaz, but she said nothing.
"Yeah...They're so loud and everyone stares at you," Isa said, wrinkling her nose. "AND, the food sucks."
"They have fire alarms and the ladies yell at me..." Jaz muttered, opening one eye.
"Why do they yell at you, and what does it have to do with fire alarms?" Isa asked, confused.
Jay shook her head, staring at the other two.
Jaz withdrew a match and three candle stubs , lighting them immediately. "I keep setting it off..."
Jay's eyes widened. She covered her face.
Isa leaned back. "Well, um, maybe you shouldn't light those here..." she said, looking at Jaz with wide eyes. My goodness, she's crazy! she thought.
Jay spread her fingers slightly apart so she could still see what was happening.
"I'm not crazy." Jaz said, hurt, blowing them out quickly. "I know that's what you're thinking. Fire's just by best skill."
"Yes, but I don't see why you'd have to light fires at school," Isa said, looking at Jay, concerned. "Are you alright?" she asked.
Jaz mumbled something to herself unhappily, going silent again.
"Well, it's out so you're okay," Isa smiled at her.
