Howard G The book rocks! I just started Deep Space, book four of the Star Carrier series, of which Center of Gravity is book 2.

The story is well paced, but then it tells the story mostly from a tactical perspective. And still there is a good bit of character development. As Jabriol says, the science is plausible, yet the technology isn't the main focus of the story telling.

Ian Douglass has done a great job!
