I thought we could have a thread to share when something weird or funny happens to us.

I'll share what happened to me on Friday at work. So I was working on a project that required me to deal with cost settings and space allocations, etc. I needed some help from this colleague of mine since she had some dealings with it in the past. Anyway, we reach out to our main office to this guy who knows ALL about this crap. Now this guy is one of those long winded, anal retentive guys who loves this crap.So we are in her office on the phone (speaker) and he is going on and on about it. He is barely answering our questions. Anyway, I'm sitting in this chair against the wall when I feel something fall on my neck, so I immediately fling it off and it lands on my notepad. What is it? A HUGE ass waterbug. So I shake it off my notepad and jump up and start screaming at the top of my lungs. Now I'm not scared of bugs normally but this shit landed on my neck which freaked me out.
So here we are on the speaker phone with this guy. I'm screaming and running around her office. She jumps up and start screaming "Oh My God" repeatedly. We are both running around, moving furniture and yelling, trying to get this thing. I starting yelling we need to get the housekeeper to get his ass in here.
I'm sure this would make for a good video to post on youtube but the funny part about this is that the freaking guy is still going on and on while all of this commotion is going on. Eventualy my colleague takes her pen and taps it repeatedly on the speaker of the phone for him to shut up b/c we have a situation and only then does he finally shut up. I mouthed "Are you fucking kidding me?" to her. So we ended the call. We get the housekeeper and head of maintenance to come in and kill the bug.
After that, everyone is laughing at me but mostly that while I was screaming loudly enough for other people in the neighboring offices to hear me, this guy never once heard me or missed a beat with his long explanation.
