Pretty Monsters was one of our Unofficial picks a few years ago... I liked it enough (considering I'm not usually a fan of short stories). Good if you like weird stories or poetry. Not good if you always want closure.

@Katie it's less fantasy than it is lit. If you can read Tinkers you can read Pretty Monsters: Stories.

I'm not a big fan of Fantasy, or at least I'm really picky. Too much fantasy is hard for me to get into if it's anything other than standard vampires, werewolves, ghosts, etc.
