Gwen froze, his voice sending shivers down her back. "Jer," she said, happy to hear him, but at the same time, she knew it was a bad thing. He was probably about to do something dumb.

"God Jer.. you're making this so hard," Gwen said, trying to hold back sobs. She got up and started heading towards the window... she had to leave before she knocked down that door.

"Can that even happen? And besides, copycatting is part of who you are. You can't give that up," Gwen sighed, leaning against the door heavily. She wished she could be in his arms, but no.
