T.T. Thomas (ttthomas) | 6 comments Greetings everyone! Checking in from sunny Southern California. As you can see in my bio, I do have some Irish-cred! Lots of it, actually. Look forward to being part of this group. A few days ago, I Indie published my first book, and I've another one coming out in September. So I'm a writer and a reader. Equal parts insanity and serenity. Two Weeks At Gay Banana Hot Springs

Hi, T.T.

Welcome to GI. I've the blurb for your new book, and seems as if it's weighted more on the side of insanity. Nevertheless, It looks very interesting. Good luck, by the way. I've been to California, but not too far south. San Francisco and Jackson. Have you ever been to Co. Kerry? It's a beautiful party of the world. If you haven't you'll love it.

T.T. Thomas (ttthomas) | 6 comments Hi Declan...yes I've been to Kerry numerous times, specifically Killorglin. It's been many years since I was there, and I know much has changed, but I hope to go again within the next couple years.

As for the equal parts insanity and serenity...ah, lol, I was talking about being a writer and a reader. So, yes, I guess you make a good point--the new book showcases huge passages of sheer insanity! In this book, that's a good thing. It was fun to write, and it's a novella really, and intended to be a light, fun summer read.

I have to agree. I'm from St. Louis, Missouri and was there in 2009 (Co. Kerry) very very beautiful. Was laid off shortly after that and when I found a new job, found that one of my co-workers was born and raised there. Talk about a small world :) I do recommend County Kerry! Ok I know this is about books, but I just wanted to back up Declan on is take of his beautiful country.

Thanks, Barb.

Don't worry about moving the conversation away from book. The introduction threads are about getting to know each other. I've been to Kerry a few times. I have friends who live there so a trip is usually inexpensive. I love Dingle. Very rugged yet still pretty. I recommend it to everyone.
