Bex ok, so i started out this series liking it, not loving it, but liking, so i stuck with it.i found the whole romance between her and japh amazing, until...he became some abusive boyfriend!!!!!I SO DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!and then she ends up deciding she will still stay with him!yes, i know hes a demon, but still.sigh...ok what do you guys think?

Christine I really liked the series but thought the relationship of the main characters was very unhealthy and a horrible example to any young women that may read the books.

Jennie I found that the lead female character was very brittle. She was so damaged that she seemed unable to function on any level of normal. I read the series because you have to fingd out what happens, but I much prefer her Jill Kismet series. The heroine has more gumption and is not afraid ask for or accept help mostly.

Kristy I had a hard time reading the series after she was taken away and was abused. Japh pissed me off so much and Dante made me angry at her. She is not fully there. But when you loose everyone you love brutally its hard to be sane. I quickly finished the last two books. It made me upset really. In a way I kinda wished she would die so she could try to find some type of peace.

i liked the series not much like her Jill Kismet series but still. I dont remeber Jap being abusive. What ticked me off though was i hate to even think this her stupidness to follow the evil little girl Lucifers daugther even if she was have hers aswell i mean just reading the story and knowing she was being played pissed me off.

Yada Yada I liked this series. Not all female leads in stories can be put together with a nice pink bow. Every now and then life throws someone a curve and this is what it would look like.

The story was clear in that Japh was a demon and really did not know how to interact with people. Yes he did trick her into bonding with him and even toward the end of the story the two lived together, but emotionally separate. I expected no less.

The fairy tale would have been if after all of her emotional damage and his inability to relate to a human that they somehow became this totally loving pair.

Kudos to Lilith Saintcrow for not giving in to such an easy cliche.
