Now that the contracts are finally signed, and money has transferred hands, the move of The Riyria Revelations is official. Mike wrote (what I think) is a very touching post on this on his blog. You can check it out here.

We agreed to "terms" in November but did not see the first contract to March...which brought the whole possibility of signing into question. Big-six publishing contracts just have some standard language that we were not used to seeing and couldn't sign them the way they were. Since Orbit was willing to adjust the contracts (though it took several months for us to get agreement on the exact language) we only recently signed.
