hell yes!! i cried, ethan was my fav character!!

I was devestated(?) when she killed him off. I cried. His death changed so muc of the story too

I'm reading this series for the second time and I still cryed....I dreamed about it for months after I read it. Some friends just finished it and I couldn't help but read it again.

I couldn't believe what I was reading and had to go back. He was my favorite character as well. Kept hoping against hope she'd decide to put in a time travel or something and fix things. Knew she wouldn't but kept hoping. I finished earlier today and am still pretty bummed about it.

I nearly had a heart attack when she killed ethan!! i was totally devastated!! This is the first book i have EVER cried in!!! :(:(:(

I hated that he had to die too. He was my fav as well, but his death is also representative of the death of Faythe's childhood and her "sheltered" world. It was essential for the series.

I had read them out of order because that was how my library was able to get them to me, so I knew it was coming, but it still impacted me!

yes oh my god i was so sad tehy were like my favorite person in the whole book next to jace i was kinda happy the faythe and jace thing came out of it but otherwise yeah i am so with you

yes totally sad i cried he was my favorite charcter in the book next to jace i loved his personlty but jace and faythe getting together did make up for it a little even though if mark finds out he going to kill him
