you should deff give it a shot - the worst thing can happen is you don't like it and decide to read something else, but hopefully you'll find it as amusing as I did.

♥ Ashleigh ♥ Contrary to popular belief I'm not actually mad! (cheshire_red) read Wolf Blood by N.M. Browne which I thought was pretty good. also read As I Wake by Elizabeth Scott have to say im not really a fan, and the end was just depressing - and not in a good way, more of a confused what the fuck just happened kind of way....
now re-reading Shatter Me (Shatter Me, #1) by Tahereh Mafi as I have just gotten my hands on the next book (Unravel Me) and cant recall everything that happened, plus its an awesome book so I don't mind re-reading it.

Now I'm listening to Even White Trash Zombies Get the Blues (White Trash Zombie, #2) by Diana Rowland and I just love, love, love Angel.

Cool, Mark! It's always nice to finish a series. I finished that one recently myself, even though I started it three years ago.

What's next?

message 1822: by Mark (new)

Mark | 71 comments Don't know yet I am open to suggestions, I may go with the Dante Valantine series and mix up other urban fantasy to catch up with other authors.

I will be reading the urban shaman soon.

There are so many to suggest. A few of my favorites are:
Moon Called (Mercy Thompson, #1) by Patricia Briggs Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews Storm Front (The Dresden Files, #1) by Jim Butcher Hounded (The Iron Druid Chronicles, #1) by Kevin Hearne Mark of the Demon (Kara Gillian, #1) by Diana Rowland My Life as a White Trash Zombie (White Trash Zombie, #1) by Diana Rowland Unholy Ghosts (Downside Ghosts, #1) by Stacia Kane Queen of Shadows (Shadow World, #1) by Dianne Sylvan Nightlife (Cal Leandros, #1) by Rob Thurman Rosemary and Rue (October Daye, #1) by Seanan McGuire The Scent of Shadows (Signs of the Zodiac, #1) by Vicki Pettersson

I will warn you that the first Kate Daniels book Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews starts out pretty slowly, but the rest of the series is phenomenal.
And My Life as a White Trash Zombie (White Trash Zombie, #1) by Diana Rowland is seriously better than you would guess from the cover.

YEAH after about the 8 or 9th I was starting to wonder if it would ever end. There was a bit there in the middle where I was beginning to wonder if I'd ever get through. I had to read them all too since it was a free eARC and I felt like I had to review them all. If I had actually bought the book I probably would have skiped a few.

message 1836: by Maria (new)

Maria Schneider (bearmountainbooks) | 299 comments Finished Graveyard Shift There were some things I loved, some things I liked and some things that were a bit meh. Overall a good read and would make a good discussion book because of the lore, the plotting and just some of the overall themes. I think there's a lot to like, but some missteps that made it less than a 5 star read for me.

message 1837: by Jalilah (new)

Jalilah I am reading The Witch's Boy by Michael Gruber not Urban Fantasy, it is more of a fairy tale retelling.

i tend to have the same problem when it comes to reading so many shorts all in a row, i also start to get the stories confused as well after a while... they start to merge. lol.
yea i dont get any read to reviews anymore cause when i feel like i have to write a review i tend to end up stumped and have nothing to say, which is an odd feeling cause i have an opinion on like everything!! lol

which author did you want to check out more of??

i believe i have read some of Allison Pangs stuff and if i recall correctly its not to bad. i have deff read some of Jennifer Estep and she is awesome, i adore her elemental series, its one of my faves. kelly gay's series is also quiet good, though i would highly recomend not leavng to big of a gap between books otherwise you'll get rather confused about who's who and what planet there from etc. actually i wouldnt mind re-reading her series. Kelly's books where one of the first i ever bought ^_^

Kathy (Kindle-aholic) (kindleaholic) | 192 comments Reading The Blue Blazes (Mookie Pearl, #1) by Chuck Wendig , Fated (Alex Verus, #1) by Benedict Jacka , and getting back into Fading Light An Anthology of the Monstrous by Tim Marquitz . message 1850: by Karen (new)

Karen (karengreco) | 29 comments Just finished The Eldritch Conspiracy by Cat Adams. I am still figuring out what I thought of it. Not the strongest in the series (Blood Song). It opened *and* closed with too many unanswered questions. The end didn't satisfy me at all. I was like 'wait, that's it?' last night when I finished.
