I love this series! This will be the third time reading the first 4 books. I'm doing a re-read so I can finally catch up on the series. Sorry it didn't work for you.

I know what you mean the first three books were like four star then it just started to fall off.
But I am looking forward to the next one I think with all of her new series I am hoping for an infusion of excitement :-)

I also started

I LOVED both Daughter of Smoke & Bone and Onion Girl. Theare also 2 of my favourties. I don't know the Rook though.

I'm currently reading
and trying to get into
, but there're a ton of characters and I keep having to put it down, so I'm not making much progress.

I've heard lots of good things about it and so far I'm enjoying it.
I just finished a really intense BDSM novel from Kayla Stonor and then went straight into The Steward which was very good.I guess my tastes are pretty eclectic. I gave them both 5 stars. I like my sex scenes intense, and Kayla does that very well.
I like my fantasy with a twist of the paranormal and Chris Shields did a fabulous job on The Steward.
I will be on to "Locked in Torture" by Kayla, which is Torture fantasy BDSM, and then I'll jump track back to Chris for the second installment in his fantasy series, "The Changeling".
Good Stuff. Check em out.
Currently reading Grave Peril. It's taken me a long time to clear enough reading space to be able to read the series, but I am so glad I did. Absolutely loving the books
I am reading the newest Jane Yellowrock novel
Realising I prefer to read series straight through. I have already forgotten a lot of details from the former books.

. Great series for kids.I'm having an awesome book year so far!

I've once again strayed from my monthly reading. I just finished
The Exiled Queen
70 pages left in A Game of Thrones half way through with The Titan's Curse 100 pages left in Switched and just started getting into Beautiful Creatures. none of which were on my list for this month.

I hate when publishers and authors do that I think it put me off a little as well as the romance was getting icky.
maybe I will start reading it again you seem to be enjoying them.
Right now, I'm reading "Two Graves" by Preston & Child and "Catching Fire" by Suzanne Collins. Almost finished with the former & just starting the latter. Enjoying both so far.
I know it's not UF, but my sister gave me a copy of
for Christmas and I just cracked it open. Blew through about half of it today. It starts REALLY slow, then you realize that all the excessive information isn't the writer, it's the character. If you can make it through the first few chapters and the monotonous explanations of everything on the internet, it's really enjoyable so far!

Many of the gamer references were probably lost on me, but any book that involves a discussion of 'Ladyhawke' is a keeper in my book.
Still reading and loving
and
, and somehow ended up getting sucked into
. I'm only about 10% of the way into this one, but I am more than intrigued.

He LOVED it and I kind of hated it, which is weird considering I'm the gamer out of the two of us! I thought Wade was kind of a putz :|
Wade is an absolute putz. It's one of the few books I'm making an exception for because, while the characters are obviously flawed and completely 2-dimensional, the concept is very well thought out.
Chakara wrote: "Mitabird wrote: "Finished

I would give them another try. I read the first five books, but never got another to reading the latest one. That is why I am doing a re-read and I'm very much enjoying them again.
I just started A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness. I haven't read enough to make any definitive statements, but she writes well and presents her story in an interesting setting.
