anotehr defition of a nerd is someone who likes to learn these people usually like school, or reading books about subjects that they want to learn about - its the kind of nerd you see on tv or in movies or in anime and manga - like Hermione Granger from Harry Potter

Kind of. No nerdfighters are nerds who fight against world suck. Or boringness and are just cool. Look at the nerdfighters definition.
