I had mixed feelings about it. The first was pretty good and the others were just okay. But i like love Jace!!! :D
I'm in the middle of #4 right now and think they're great. Magnus is by far my favorite character, but I like Jace too. We'll see how I feel at the end of all this! Also, I had no idea they were making these into movies -- Thanks!!
I LOVE THIS SERIES!!! HOLY COW!!! But I've only read the first two books so far. I'm a little behind. Definitely need to catch up....
I love the series. Jace is awesome, when he's not being stuck up. I like Simon too. I like Isabelle alot. She isn't a damsel in distress like Clary, though Clary's ok too.
I love Mortal Instruments and I find Jace absolutely dreamy...which is odd since I prefer Jem over Will in the Infernal Devices books. However, the continued struggles between Jace and Clary's relationship is really growing tiresome to me.
I am in love with Jace. He can be a total butt head, who's super stubborn but I think that makes him more real. <3 I agree with Amber though, the constant "I can't be with you I hate myself" thing is getting old. I just want them to be happy. Isabelle is another really great character. I hope that as the series continues, Clary, in her training will become a little more kick butt like Izzy.
Izzy is total kick butt! She One character that really stood out to me! Was CoFA any of your guys favorite?
I love this series! I love all the characters--the only one who kind of annoyed me was Clary in CoFA. I prefer Jace to Simon; but love Alec! I need to reread the series again before CoLS--I can barely remember what happened in the last one, except the ending where I was ready to throw the book across the room!
CoFA was my favorite book in the series so far. But jace and clary are kinda starting to annoy me. But I love the rest of the characters.
I love Jace, a lot of people don't. I do though, I guess I'm a sucker for the hurt boy complex. The series itself I absolutely love. I have to agree Izzy is amazing!! She sounds like an amazon of our time. I wouldn't want to get on her bad side.

When I'd just read it, I knew it of course, but now I have to make a book report for school, and I've been so stupid to return the book to the library, so I can't look it up :s and i've got to explain the title (detailed)...

well i guess its because she goes to the silent city which is a graveyard and there are a ton of bones everywhere? and its called the Bone City rite? honestly i dont really remember either. SRY!
I pretty sure that it's called city of bones because that's another name for the Silent City and the key parts of the book involve the Silent City and the Silent brothers (the monks that live there)

cause it's funny when jace talks about them behind their back and to their faces about how they're so serious and probably in pain ;D
