Timothy Davis | 53 comments Hi. How do I let Goodreads know that my books are available in other formats and other stores? Sea Cutter and Red Stone are available in more than Kindle now, and available at Smashwords. Should I wait on this until Smashwords ships to Barnes & Noble? Thanks, Tim.

Ralph Gallagher | 200 comments I don't think Smashwords ships to B&N since they're not a print publisher. Smashwords only provides ebooks, last I checked.

Carolyn (seeford) | 573 comments Does each edition have it's own ISBN? If so, and if they are already available online, you can enter them manually in the database. Just make sure to get each entry as complete as possible, hopefully that will avoid duplicate entries down the line.

Timothy Davis | 53 comments hmm Ralph. They say that the ebook will be shipped to Barnes & Noble, Apple, etc. Thanks. Maybe you're right. Best, Tim

Carolyn (seeford) | 573 comments They might be using the common term of 'shipped' from print books to mean 'available' - meaning that is when it will be entered into the B&N catalogue, visible (and orderable) online... But I'm just guessing here. = )

Timothy Davis | 53 comments Yes Carolyn, each has it's own ISBN. However, I don't know how to get the data base you mention. Thanks.
Sea Cutter ISBN 978-0-615-51371-3, Red Stone ISBN 978-1-4657-2803-6. Thanks!

Carolyn (seeford) | 573 comments Sorry, by 'the database' I meant the books part of Goodreads.

I just tried one of those ISBNs and they aren't auto-importing from B&N yet, so they must not be set up in their database yet. So, you can either wait for that 'ship date' you mentioned and then put the ISBN in the search field and the book should get auto-imported at that point, or you can manually enter each book. You'll find a link on the top right of the page after you search for a book and it doesn't come up (like here.)
Then just make each entry as complete as possible.
