This section started as a dedication to names of good food, to naming a restaurant, of mis-naming politics, and of pseudo-naming regrets. Yawn!

Yet these same chapters hold the most emotional portions of the book so far. The author killed two people!

I found it so frustrating that a death would first be mentioned in past tense reference to something so mundane. “Wait, what do you mean Joe/Dom WOULD have liked that? You haven’t told me that Joe/Dom is dead. Don’t tell me about sausage…tell me how Joe/Dom died!”

I know!!!! He just meandered along holding off on telling us the details. It was almost anti-climatic to find out what actually happened.

I like this section - because I was born and raised in TO (that's Toronto). I tried to figure out exactly where he was in the book.

I know Irving has a place here in Toronto - probably in Forest Hill. That's what I gathered - his character was living in a FH residence.

It's always cool to be able to relate to a location based on your own experience. Toronto is a very cool city!
