Think that must be a date of some kind, but you'll need to translate....24th of something in 2003?? Probably not.

Reading An Ice-Cream War by Boyd which is set in what was German East Africa, the little map at the front of the book. From what I can make out the area is now Tanzania, Dar-es-salem being the starting point for the book. What do you think?

we can include Cities?

If you are following the challenge rules as I set them out re main setting, then it is England. However it's up to you how strictly you stick to them as it's your own challenge and if you want to make it easier, than that's totally up to you.

Still wearing my hair shirt Em lol

A challenge to my absolute power over the Around the world in 80 Books is just a challenge too far....so in defence of my megalomania I have had to tweak the rules ever so slightly so that yes all 4 countries within the UK can still be counted separately as well as the Channel Islands..................except for members called Catherine who live in New Jersey.

northern ireland isnt in great britain

that's right!! Brittany, and Burgundy were English!!!

it is part of the UK!!! United Kingdom of England, Wales, Scotland AND Northern Ireland
Back to geography class Catherine.....Stephen is correct. You are confusing the United Kingdom in post 306 which includes Northern Ireland and Great Britain in post 301 which doesn't.
