Okay, I got the Robert Wilson books fixed...don't know why they were all mis-authored. But anyway, the Robert Wilson profile now shows the correct books :)

Although it does not compare by any mean with Goodreads.com...http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/ is nevertheless a wonderful and useful site where you will find bibliographies for over 20,000 authors and information on over 270,000 books throughout.

Most places mix Robert Wilson up...not only we have Robert Wilson, we also have Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Charles Wilson all accomplished authors fantasticfiction will demystify everything.

Sherry things could get complicated at times...but always a way out....glad we have this one cleared.

The single-name authors in the M,N,O groups are as done as I can get them. A few are legit as they are; a few have entries that I cannot find, but maybe someone else can.

Yeah, I love fantasticfiction.co.uk. In fact I was solely using that (and occasionally amazon) before I discovered this site. Sometimes when I just want to see just a simple chronological list of an author's books, I go on there instead of here. But dont worry, Im here the other 99% of the time. ;)

I worked on the single-name list for a while today and these are ready to be deleted:

Faust
Featherstone
Feldman
First - done, but still showing (may be a cache issue)
Frank – cleaned up, remaining are a single-name graphic artist
Freedman
Fred – cleaned up, remaining are a single-name graphic artist


The others on the list just have 3 or 4 each to go through, except for "France." (356 remaining – most are official reports/studies issued by a committee/group) Yuck!

Here's Wilson for the single-name list, but I suspect that the author of Orang dan Partai Nazi di Indonesia is supposed to be "Wilson" as a single name; I'll drop this in the translation thread as well for someone to look into. The other two are probably not the same Wilson.

Here's another author that I'd at least like to have someone take another look at. I got her down from 850 to 750 books. They are all clearly hers, but she writes about each state, and each state has at least 5 books, plus many other books. I got *most* of it, but I probably missed some stuff. Watch out for Teacher's editions.

I have differentiated 4 different David Williams so far, inserting 5, 4, 3 & 2 extra spaces--I think. I'm too tired to figure out how to find all these extra guys right now, but there are still more to find I'm sure!

Later edit: Sorry about that ... I didn't have the posts on newest first, so I am working on something posted well back, and I did not see the instruction to post links to differentiated author pages. Is there a way to find them after the fact? I will gladly hunt them down if I can figure out how. Thank you.

Yes, otherwise you won't know which David Williams is the correct editor.

It should also be noted that not quite all edits actually show up as librarian edits. For example, combining two authors apparently does not count.

It's sort of odd that you skipped creating a David Williams with two spaces, i.e., "(2) David Williams". I created an author with that profile; next time someone discovers a new David Williams, please use that one first.
