Ummm, are these series complete or nearly? I have been looking and they don't seem to be.

Quoting the author of the Immortals after Dark series "After 2011, there will be at least four more full-length novels (including Lothaire's book in early 2012). There really is no end in sight for the series. I have another dozen plotted out, so I'm ready for more if you are!"

Just don't want people confused or disappointed when they read one we listed here that they expect to be finished and it isn't even close.

PM (personalmiracle) | 242 comments Heather, since the Sookie Stackhouse series isn't complete yet and since none of us know how it will end, anything you read above is purely conjecture. That said, however, I am very sorry if we have have ruined any of the surprises in the books for you.
BTW, to avoid this problem in the future, I have deleted any of my Sookie related posts that may be spoilerish and put spoiler alerts on my other posts where relevant. Perhaps we should all go back and do this.

Jenny | 114 comments From everything that I have read the Dark Hunters series has a way to go Sherrilyn Kenyon said that it was only about half way through as she was going to expand the world, I can't remember where I read it but I think it was on her Dark Hunters website.

And I have read the Merry Gentry series by Laurel K. Hamilton and I really enjoyed it but I don't have a problem with the sex in that series. The Anita Blake series I tried but just couldn't get into it but the book I tried was part way through and I was confused with all the dynamics of the characters. I have seen how readers have been torn over loving or hating the series, so I may have to give it another shot one of these days.

The one I don't know if it was listed or not but is over for the moment is the Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning.
Darkfever (Fever, #1) by Karen Marie Moning Bloodfever (Fever, #2) by Karen Marie Moning Faefever (Fever, #3) by Karen Marie Moning Dreamfever (Fever, #4) by Karen Marie Moning Shadowfever (Fever, #5) by Karen Marie Moning
There are three coming for Dani but I believe that they are after the whole book this is what she has on the new book.

"I'm currently working on a trilogy that features Dani, Christian MacKeltar, Ryodan, and the mysterious 'Dancer,' set primarily in Fever-Dublin. Each installment in the trilogy is a stand-alone mystery, however there are larger plot arcs unfolding in the background...

..For those of you who have been worrying—the trilogy is not YA. If I had to categorize it, I would say it straddles the line between YA and adult uneasily. ...Many of the questions I left unanswered in the FEVER series are addressed in this new series.

Exciting news: I’ve agreed to write two more books after that. Once the new trilogy is complete, I’m returning to the core story begun in the FEVER series, and will resume writing about Mac, Barrons, V’lane, Cruce, the Unseelie king, the concubine, the Song of Making. All in all, there are five more books coming about the Fever World!"

Ohhh that is good! I didn't hear there would be more Fever books! And give Anita Blake another try, from the BEGINNING! LOL I really liked that series. Try Charlaine Harris' Harper Connelly series, if you haven't yet. It is very different, but one of my favs.

Yup that's what I've heard too. Apparently Acheron completed arc 1 of the Dark Hunters, with 3 more to go. Even if each subsequent arc isn't as long there will still be a lot more books.

Thank you! I also thing it will be ok if it is at least labled as a spoiler. The relationships of sookie is a big part of the series (at least I think it is)

Also the Fallen series by Lauren Kate is almost done. There is one more book in the series and that comes out in June or July."

I didn't realise Hex Hall was a trilogy. Thanks for the heads up Tori! It'll be interesting to see how everything ends up :)

PM (personalmiracle) | 242 comments The Mythos Academy Series is not complete or nearly complete. It will be 6 at the least so it has a way to go.

Since this thread is for COMPLETE SERIES or ones that have only ONE book to go, would posters
please monitor yourselves and remove any series that do not fit that criterion?

I would love to be able to fix this sort of thing for you but I do not have that access and if we have a lot of bad info this thread will loose it's usefulness.

Thanks!!!

PS-From the author's website - "The seventh and final novel in the first cycle of the Blue Bloods series, is scheduled for January 2013."

That is exactly how I felt about it. I wanted to like because I liked the characters but I thought the writing was terrible and really struggled with it. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who felt that way.
