Yes, i suppose it is, but im so used to it i don't notice or appriciate it like i should. I enjoy hiking and if you get a nice clear day there can be some amazing views. However ireland is all about nature, mountains, forests, surfing etc and history. There's no fun theme parks or anything like that. Attractions here include zipwire (forest), eagles flying (animals), castles (bunratty) and caves (aillwee). So if youre interested in coming to irland ya best like history and exercise.

I don't really. I hadn't visited Barcelona in 7 years until last year and I never really had any craving of going back. Maybe I'm lying, but I don't know. I mean, I lived there for 10 years, so I guess I miss it a bit sometimes but nothing major.
I was actually there for two weeks in dec-jan so it still feels fresh. Although I have to say that I enjoy Sweden a lot more and wouldn't move back. Sweden is just so much better.

I think that happens to all of us Ellen. We don't appreciate what we have. I would think nature would be a fantastic place to grow up. There are to many video games here. People don't get out and appreciate the beauty.

That's so very true, Tracy. We never really appreciate our own backyard and the wonders it has to offer, though in saying that, we are spoilt with such beautiful beaches etc down here and I really appreciate those.
I'm from Arkansas, USA. I use to live in Korea and London and would gladly claim either one of those as my home. lol

Well, the closest beaches are at least an hours drive away and the better ones are definitely hours away so it can be resisted lol now, if I lived right on the beach like my brother in law, waking up and doing the normal everyday things would never get done lol

Thanks. Although I had very little to do with any of it, I identify with, am proud of and try to live up to every part.
I once read anout a woman who, through great-grandparents onwards, could claim 8 different cultural identities. A truly international lady.

I went to Banff (I think that's how you spell it) for the winter Olympics many years ago but it was beautiful.

Yeah, we just had the Winter Olympics here in 2010; CHUFFED and STILL Canadian PROUD! I love living here, it's the most beautiful place on earth....!!!
