Hi Patrick. If it's recommendations you are looking for you've come to the right place. Glad you found us.

I love Silva's books, especially The Unlikely Spy. I actually posted a review of that one here on Goodreads.

Thanks, Donna! I've already seen some great books just by checking out what people in the group included in their Books - looks like the right place to me, too.
Hi Patrick. Welcome to the group.
It sounds perfect because I've been reading thrillers for years, had a medical/legal thriller published some years ago, and am looking to dip my toe back in!
Like many here, I like a range - le Carré and Forsyth and Ludlum, older Ken Follett, Dennis Lehane, some Crichton and Thomas Harris, a little true crime like In Cold Blood, P.D. James and some Agatha Christie, John Sandford (a local to me, since I'm in Minnesota), and enough others that I really shouldn't take up the space in an intro piece....
I'm looking forward to being in the group and reading all the recommendations and comments and thoughts.
