I ABSOLUTELY ADORED IT!!! People think I might like it just beacause im a true hp fan, but it really topped the other movies.
I thought the movie was pretty amazing (but that might just be because I love Harry Potter). The movie and books are similar but only to a point because I think the books are way more detailed and really show how the characters act on the situations that present themselves in the story.
I liked the movie, but was disappointed by the final Harry-Voldy showdown. Not enough people watching.
OMG! It was awesome!
SPOILERS!!!
I loved how Snape was good in the end and Neville killed the snake!

I loved it all right. However, I can't help but point out a lot of the good little details they decided to mess up. :( that really bugs me.
The harry voldy showdown was the only letdown, they didnt explain anything in the beggining but i liked it
I loved it! The music was great, they did a great job of following the books (though they added some extra things in there lol) and overall I was very happy with the movie.
My only complaint is the fact that we didn't have enough time to truly feel sad for the characters that died. I couldn't, it showed tonks and Lupin for a second before cutting straight to Fred which was less than a minute. I can't feel that real ache for losing great characters in very quick scenes. Since I read the books and know them through the books, I was devastated, but had I scene just the movie, I would have been like (...um...who are they again?)

yeah the book has so much more information then the movie, so it'll be a whole nother experience for you, Andrea. AND I TOTALLY AGREE I LOVED THE MOVIE. but yeah i do wish they had focuses more on the deaths (not to be creepy) but i feel like they were so important. like my friend who hadn't read the books didn't even realize that lupin died!
I loved the movie, but they stretched the final battle out a bit. Lucky me got to see the movie twice. In 3D and 2D. Both were great!
The domineering final stretch of a story that has become as much popcorn distraction as old, reliable friend is shaping up to be part family reunion, part merciless slugfest.
