Good Websites For Character Pictures

A lot of people use websites to find pictures for their characters, if they end up using pictures at all. What are your favourite websites?

I've found DeviantArt.com to be the most productive. It's all kinds of art from all kinds of people. They have anything and everything you want.

And... Just google what you want!

DeviantArt.com can be a problem because they might have copyrights. These are original pictures... I try to avoid deviantart for that reason...

That's no problem, so long as you're not saying you drew it. I tend to use links so people can see who actually drew it. It's an image on the internet--nobody will get you in trouble for copying it. Trust me.

deviantart has the best picutres but yes -.- the copyright thing is a problem...so you may have to ask for permission or state that you don't have rights when you post it. it's all...just a big hassle to go through

That is why I try to avoid it and I just use google images... I don't know the website but if it from DeviantArt I post a link to the page istead of full size (Plus the image is larger that way...)

No, there shouldn't be. It's an image on the internet, and it's always tracable back to the owner. Just the fact that it's on a website gives anyone the right to copy it.

It's the same with videos if you copy something that belong to someone else then you get in trouble. JUst because it's on the internet it doesn't give you the right to copy it! People who post stuff that doesn't belong to them have to have special permission to do so other wise they get in trouble under copyright grounds...

Not if it's Tracable. There are many certain things you have to do in order to get someone in trouble for copying an image.

It's the same thing! Audio video and images you can get in a lot of trouble for copying. It's called stealing...

I'm pretty sure not. With DeviantArt, at least. Maybe a professional company? But DeviantArt has the option to put their insignia on your picture, so whatever you do, you know it's from there. If you don't click that option, you can't get anyone in trouble. Trust me, Falls knows these things.

DeviantArt crashed my computer... 3 times... Now DeviantArt and I don't get along. At all. XD

I've never been to Photobucket, but I've seen pictures from there. A few of them were kind of obnoxious...

The only way you can get in trouble by posting copyrighted images is if you're selling them and getting monetary gain from them. Other then that you're perfectly safe to post them. But please if they have a watermark don't photoshop it out that's just stupid.

I used to have the K9 stuff, but it didn't block google images all the time. If you put something like 'girl' or 'hot guy' or something, then it'll block it, you've just got to try something that doesn't trigger it.

Yeah... That doesn't work. You could try Alex Pettyfer, or Baptiste Giabiconi(The most famous male model in the world, but he's not that good looking).

Or you could search it as a website, then pick a link and try and find pictures there. Just right click and pick 'open image in new tab'.
