How exciting to have Mitch Hammond, the hero from Second Chance Family, a July release from Love Inspired Historical with us today.

1. Tell me the most interesting thing about you.
There’s not anything really special about me. I’m just a regular guy who happens to be a small town sheriff.

2. What do you do for fun?
Do? Hmm, I never put a lot of thought into this. I enjoy the town dances and church picnics. I guess just being around the folks of this town when they’re relaxing and having a good time is fun to me.

3. What do you put off doing because you dread it?
Putting a thing off doesn’t make the doing any easier so I don’t hold with procrastination. Just jump in and get whatever you’re dreading over with and be done with it.

4. What are you afraid of most in life?
That I have become the callous man my grandmother Opal predicted I would be.

5. What do you want out of life?
A family of my own. Unfortunately, with my history, that can never happen.

6. What is the most important thing to you?
Honor.

7. Do you read books? If so, what is your favorite type of book?
Sorry, I’m not much of a reader.

8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I wish I were a different sort of man, one who didn’t end up hurting those who love him.

9. Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet?
No pets. I’m not opposed to them, mind you, just never had one.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why?
I’d go back to the time ten years ago when I proposed to Dinah and undo it. Maybe things wouldn’t have gone so horribly wrong if I’d never asked her to marry me.
