Need help running the group!

Hey everyone!

So you've probably noticed that I'm online less than I used to be. Most of you know it's because I was lucky enough to have my first child Ryan, four weeks ago. I'm having a great time learning to be a dad, but it's hard work as I'm sure many of you know.

So I need help. I'm moderating this group on my own at the moment, and it would be great to share the load with someone. It's not much work...just keep your eye on threads from time to time and make sure that polls for our monthly and quarterly reads are done on time each month (which I'm failing to do right now.)

Let me know either on this thread, or by messaging me if you're interested.

Congratulations Keith and to your wife. May your new son be a source of joy and love. I actually still remember those days of our first born of five that we have who are all adults now. It's interesting to remember now that I'm in this Goodreads group because the nurse who took care of my wife was from Ireland.
I'm too new to niminate anyone though, so good luck to whomever assumes the role.

I can do it. It'll be fine for a while, but when exam time approaches I'll have to relinquish the responsibilities to someone else. If that's OK, count me in.

I'm too new as well to vote for someone, here's a suggestion instead; why not nominate more than one (see Declan's response) that way it would fall to people who already know what's going on?!

I can help if you need it. I don't post much, but I know how to start polls and manage the bookshelf from some other groups that I run. My schedule is currently steady enough that I should have the time to check in regularly.

Thank you Carol, but I am not very good with computers just yet. I can blog I can email.... I can read. But I am a nightmare trying to work with the cyberworld!!!!!! I just figure out how to include a book cover in a GR comment.
