"Flashforward" By Robert J Sawyer

Just finished reading a book by Robert J Sawyer. OK book but an awesome storyline. I read on a website last week that ABC has recently purchased the rights to make it in 2009, and is hoping to capture some LOST viewers.

Here's the synopsis:

Based on Robert J. Sawyer's sci-fi novel, "Flash Forward" is considered very compatible with "Lost." It chronicles the chaos that ensues after everyone in the world blacks out for 2 minutes, 17 seconds and has a mysterious vision of the future that changes lives forever.

Sounds interesting! I hope it turns out to be as interesting as Lost. We will definitely need something to watch once Lost ends.

Is there a significance to the 2 minutes, 17 seconds? Now I'm curious. I'm going to have to see if my library has that book. :)
