Otherwise, I have just added The Hut Builder to my to read list. It just won the NZ Post Book Awards fiction prize.

Is this your first book, Greg?

Copies have just arrived in NZ yesterday and I am awaiting confirmation of retail stockists before I send out review copies and other PR items.
It can be downloaded on Goodreads too ($2.99) and/or ordered from my website at gregscowen.com for $19.95 NZD incl postage. It is sent from Auckland.
No reviews on Goodreads just yet (plenty on both amazon.com and amazon.co.uk) so am happy to 'remember' reviewers when releasing my second book in 2012/2013.
The Hut Builder looks like a really good read. Seventh book from this author, apparently.

I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have and have also provided a website at gregscowen.com which contains some of my research and further information about the themes that are mentioned.
Remember that I am based in Switzerland at the moment so my answers are likely to come during your nights.

Red Mars for the Sci-fi/Fantasy group
and maybe I'll get around to finishing Neuromancer, maybe...
If not Neuromancer then I'll read Pride and Prejudice :)

I read Pride and Prejudice for the first time a month or so ago. Really liked it.

It might be a bit different for a male reading Pride and Prejudice, at least, my friends told me that. My female friends think it's great, my male friends just look at me funny.

10 years ago, I might have laughed too. Now I spend hours watching period drama from BBC and ITV etc. I also enjoy reading historical fiction and literary classics.

Enjoy.

We now have 16 people in this group, not huge, but maybe enough to choose a book that we can all focus on for the month.
Post your suggestions by the end of day Friday and we'll select one or two from there. Don't be shy!
I'm about to start reading 'One Day' by David Nicholls. Anyone else keen to read this?
