The Rizzoli & Isles 8 book omnibus has an incorrect title and no cover.

http://www.diesel-ebooks.com/mas_asse... <--cover

The title is Tess Gerritsen's Rizzoli & Isles 8-Book Bundle: The Surgeon, The Apprentice, The Sinner, Body Double, Vanish, The Mephisto Club, The Keepsake, Ice Cold

Should this contain the titles of all the books? Also it's not a bundle. It is an omnibus. A bundle is one purchase that gives you all 8 books separately. An omnibus gives you all 8 books in one. And the series is not part of the title. Yes, this is a series and there is one more full story and one short story not here.

Beth (bethjustbeth) | 1568 comments I added the cover. According to every site I can bring up with the book info, including Sony's ebookstore, and the publisher's website, the title is as you have it listed, above: Tess Gerritsen's Rizzoli & Isles 8-Book Bundle: The Surgeon, The Apprentice, The Sinner, Body Double, Vanish, The Mephisto Club, The Keepsake, Ice Cold.

It may not be proper to call it a "bundle," but in this case, it's the proper title of the omnibus. I'm not sure that the listing as it is, is necessarily improper. Just bulky. It's listed the same way on the Kindle edition.

JSWolf | 649 comments But even if you go with the title as is, it doesn't have the series information.

The publisher is incorrect in this case. A bundle would be if all 8 were separate books. An omnibus is when all 8 are in one file or one cover.

2. Also called: omnibus volume a collection of works by one author or several works on a similar topic, reprinted in one volume

The above definition is from http://dictionary.reference.com/brows... and it fits this title perfectly. So it cannot be a bundle when it fits the definition of omnibus perfectly.

Beth (bethjustbeth) | 1568 comments I understand what it IS. BUT...it is TITLED Rizzoli & Isles 8-Book Bundle. They can call it the Rizzoli & Isles TOASTER if they want. It obviously isn't a toaster, but if you're holding the book in your hand, and are looking for it on GR, that's the title. They can title it whatever they like.

I'm adding the series info.

JSWolf | 649 comments Actually, I just noticed that the title may be still incorrect. The publisher has it called Tess Gerritsen's Rizzoli & Isles 8-Book Bundle so all the titles for the actual books in the bundle do not belong.

Jessica | 963 comments The titles of what is in the bundle should be included, although perhaps in paranthesis.

Vicky (librovert) | 2462 comments The titles of the books should stay so that they are searchable.

I think it's as good as it's going to get. I'd leave it alone now.

Scott | 10039 comments From the cover, it looks like it's just called Rizzoli & Isles.

JSWolf | 649 comments Why keep the title knowingly incorrect?
